Let's break the ice

What I’m about to share with you is a perfect example of how a misfortune can turn into an unexpected opportunity.

Imagine this: a half-packed suitcase, plane tickets bought, and a knot in my stomach. I was just a week away from leaving everything behind to move to Sydney. I would join some colleagues to embark on the adventure of working in the land of kangaroos.

Everything seemed to be falling perfectly into place, right?

It was March 15th, 2020. I was enjoying a Sunday on the beach in the south of Lima, making the most of my final days with my family (or so I thought).

Suddenly, boom!

The news hit like a bucket of cold water. Decision made: no one in or out of the country until further notice.

A chill ran down my spine.

The pandemic, once a distant threat, had hit us head-on. Goodbye tickets, goodbye accommodation, goodbye new life… goodbye dreams.

“Maybe it’s temporary,” we said to ourselves. But no. Over a year passed without being able to leave the country.

After the initial shock, watching my dream fade away, and facing unemployment in a topsy-turvy world, I made a radical decision:

My future would never again depend on physical borders.

And here’s the irony: that “misfortune” ended up being one of the best things that could have happened to me.

Let me tell you why.

Hi there! I’m Natalia Boada, and this is my journey as a Digital Marketer.

2008

I started working as a hostess and model, where I learned to interact with clients and value my time and money from a young age (yes, that’s me).

2015

After graduating in Business Administration, I worked in sectors like banking and energy at a multinational company, always close to clients.

2020

I decided to move to Australia, but the pandemic derailed my plans. I launched a blog that garnered over 80,000 monthly views and substantial income in less than a year. This is when I discovered my true passion: Digital Marketing.

2021

Thanks to that initial success, I landed my first job as a Copywriter for a brand I admired. I stood out for my ability to connect with the audience and drive over $100,000 in sales for infoproducts. I made the most of this remote work opportunity and got back to my dream of traveling.

2022

I lived in Valencia pursuing a master’s degree in Digital Marketing at one of Spain’s top universities, while simultaneously collaborating with brands from Mexico, Spain, and Argentina.

2023

I settled in Helsinki and realized the importance of mastering the local language and culture to integrate into my new life. I decided to resume my studies and learn Finnish.

2024

I had my first collaboration with a Finnish brand: a language school, where cultural diversity took center stage. I enjoyed helping them boost their conversions with copy and design that highlighted their unique mission.

Thanks to that unexpected turn of events, I found a passion I overlooked at the start of my career. Now, I can help others highlight what they do best and connect with the right audience, no matter where I am.

Today:

I’m ready to write the next chapter.

My Professional Values

Since We’re Getting Personal…

How did I end up settling in the land of saunas? I’ve always admired Finland, but living here wasn’t part of my plan.

As I let myself be enchanted by the old continent, traveling and working online, I decided I wanted to stay and study in Spain. But fate had other ideas…

I met my now-husband in a hostel in Madrid. It was love at first sight, and without a second thought, he followed me back to Peru.

After asking my father for his blessing and spending three months exploring my country, we landed in Finland, his homeland, where we eventually got married. Now, I have the honor of calling the land of Santa Claus my home.
